FUTURE FUNDRAISING/SUPPORTERS CLUB EVENTS

* Margaret Lord believes we should arrange future fundraising/supporters club events before next season starts.

LOTTERY

* The Lottery has now been finished and will not be running next season. This is due to very little interest being shown in it and very few people taking part.

OTHER NEWS

* Sara Thornton would like to invite Supporters Club members to her baby's christening in September. Invitations are to be made. There will be a party after the christening at the Bensham Arms.

MICKEY BARRASS' RESIGNATION

* Mickey has resigned as Vice-Chariman of the Supporters Club. This is due to work commitments. Mickey would like to thank the working committee and Peter Storey for all their support. He also said that it has been a pleasure working with Peter.

PETER STOREY'S RESIGNATION

* Peter would like to make it clear that he is retiring, NOT resigning as Chairman of the Supporters Club. This is due to other commitments. In his final speech Peter said that he feels Gateshead Football Club lacks a community spirit and that he has become very disillusioned at the lack of interest shown in past events arranged by the Supporters Club. Peter also said that he believes it is only the same people making the efforts to help our Football Club and believes there are some fans who criticise the work the supporters club does, yet these "fans" make no contribution of their own.

*** WE DESPERATELY NEED A FEW MORE OF OUR REGULAR SUPPORTERS TO COME FORWARD AND HELP OUT WITH FUTURE EVENTS AND TO ATTEND THEM AND ALSO BRING ALONG SOME FAMILY AND FRIENDS AS WELL!!!***

A SINCERE THANK YOU

* The Supporters Club members in attendance of tonight's meeting would sincerely like to thank Peter Storey and Mickey Barrass for all the hard work, time and effort that they have put in.
